The College Democrats of Georgia Tech is an officially state chartered chapter of the Young Democrats of Georgia (YDG). The YDG is comprised of various chapters starting from High School chapters, College chapters, to County chapters.
The Georgia Tech chapter of the College Democrats is one of of 15 collegiate chapters in the state of Georgia. These 15 chapters are under the College Democrats of Georgia Caucus. Each chapter functions with it's own leadership and membership, and are the crucial part of the grassroots initiatives that puts Democrats over the top to win elections!
The College Democrats of Georgia Tech was awarded the "Program of the Year" award at the Young Democrats of Georgia Conventoin 2013.
The College Democrats of Georgia Tech is an organization dedicated to the values of the Democratic Party.
A successful grassroots organization cannot thrive without strong leaders.
The 2013-2014 Executive Board was elected at the 2013 general election.

Serves with the Executive Board, voting executive officers of the Organization Acts as the official spokeperson of the Organization Presides over all official events, functions, activities and meetings of the Organization
Oversees the Executive Cabinet, a standing committee of non voting representatives Fulfills the duties of the President if the President is unable or unfit to do so Conducts Executive Board meetings.
Manages most of the day to day activity of the Organization by working closely with the Political Director and Financial Director Formulates official press releases and external affairs Represents the Organization along with the President
Maintains relationships with legislators and the Campaigns Committee of the Young Democrats of Georgia Contacts speakers, politicians, sponsors and donors for the Organization Facilitates with the YDG political internship program.
Manages all Social Media, websites, and online presence for the Organization Provides updates through E-Mail, Social Media, and General Meetings Engages with press and media outlets for the Organization
Manages the finances and all accounts under the Organization Validates all expenditures on behalf of the Organization Collects and documents dues from members for the Organization
Documents all official minutes of General Meetings and Exec Meetings Provides updates through E-Mail and General Meetings Maintains official roster of active members and dues paid
